My own path hasn’t been linear. I went from broadcast journalism and radio studios in Los Angeles to building a coaching business and a life in Sydney. Along the way, I wrote a quirky AOL column, stepped on air terrified and shaking, lost a job that helped raise millions for charity, navigated heartbreak, and boarded a last-minute flight during a global pandemic with one suitcase, my microphone, and my laptop.

What I know now is this: none of it was random.
